JR is a Utah native, and a graduate of BYU with a BFA in Animation. He currently works for Waterford.org as a designer and illustrator.

JR is a versatile and experienced artist. He's worked professionally as a visual development artist, background designer/painter, character designer and illustrator, and when he needs to be, an animator and 3D artist as well.

Besides being an artist, JR is an avid hiker in the summer, snowboarder in the winter, food enthusiast and dinosaur nerd. JR currently lives in Utah with his wife, Brooklyn, and their cat Mochi, dog, Waffle, and a growing collection of turtles (currently at 3).
